🔨 Projects on the work-bench

Right now, I’m working on activity-servist, a server-framework for fedi and ActivityPub. The goal is to make it signficantly easier to write an ActivityPub server with Common Lisp. I’ve finally gotten JSON-LD classes in a satisfactory state, it’s on the up and up! c:<

I’m also taking a stab at renovating this site, a bit. It may not be pretty, but I’d like to fix that! One recent fruit of my effort’s this page here, this now-page! I think I read about now-pages a few months ago, but I don’t remember where… In any case, a lovely blog-post by JamesG reminded me of the idea.

… in any case, school’s keeping me occupied, so I’m progressing at a snail’s pace, at the moment! ;<

Currently reading the manga My Girlfiend’s Not Here Today (今日はカノジョがいないから) by Kiyoko Iwami. Nice artwork, some good scene-development, solid pacing… I’m invested!

I recently read The Palace of Danger: A Story of La Pompadour by Mabel Wagnalls, translated into Esperanto by Saxton Payson (AKA Edward S. Payson). As it turns out, Payson translated several of her books; since Palace was cute, I plan on reading more! ^^

📺 Eye-worms

Right now I’m watching Interview with the Vampire; what a beautiful show. It’s a bit meandering/pretentious at points, but by and large it’s so well-done that I can ignore that easily! What a show!

I finally got to watching Bocchi the Rock! (ぼっち・ざ・ろっく！). Only two years late; I really do keep up with the culture, huh? Anyway, it’s a real cute series, if a bit painfully relatable. I’ve got the humor of a baby, so silly faces always are and always will be funny.
